Traditional vs Non-traditional

Soooooooooo, it's New Year's Eve and you are heading out to a party with a few friends, what to wear? Well........depending on your mood, you can go with a traditional black, sparkly, dressy look OR you can go with a non-traditional animal print, accentuated with black and gold accessories.
Remember, clothes are a form of expression and you make them....they don't make you!
The "traditional" is  safe and always works, but sometimes it is fun to do the unexpected and mix things up.
It's a new year so try something new!!!  Peace, Love and Fashion!
Happy 2016!!

"Me" Mondays!

Comfy & Cute
E-A-G-L-E-S
Fashion is a form of expression.  Everyone who knows me knows that "Me" Monday is a National Holiday for me. On this R&R day, fashion takes a direct turn toward comfy, cute and cozy. These are the days to bring out the flannel pj's, fuzzy socks, headbands, hats, sweats and any other casual comfy garments. "Me" Mondays are made for reading, t.v., mani's, pedi's, naps, lunch for one, and salmon for dinner. The day is always topped off with a rigorous Zumba, kick-boxing, or Acro-fitness class. Over the years, Mondays have come to be my favorite, most anticipated day of the week!

The little black dress!

So..........all dressed up and nowhere to go? It's okay, dress up for yourself and/ or that someone special in your life! Hubby and I decided to do just that last New Year's Eve 2015! We rang in the New Year in true Lee style. When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you are good! Stay tuned for this New Year's Eve look in a couple of days! We're never too old to play dress up!
Spruce up the little black dress with a blingy wide belt, sexy stockings and sparkly shoes!

Ain't nothin but a number!

How to ring in a 50th birthday celebration....with an elegant, sparkly mermaid gown. Accessorize the look with diamond drop earrings, a diamond cluster necklace and a diamond studded bracelet ring. Tiara optional!

Don't let a sheer, see through gown intimidate you. Have a nude color underlay sewn in for a natural, skin tone cover up. Remember, there is a thin line between modesty and sexy.  We ladies of a "certain" age can rock both! Fifty, Fierce and Fabulous....of course!

All that sparkles!

This party dress is accessorized with black & silver rhinestone, hoop earrings and a black and silver rhinestone accent bracelet.

Black and silver sparkle dress. Accessorized with black satin, rhinestone bow pumps.

Festive Fashion!

The dress stands alone, so down play and minimize the accent jewelry. A small necklace, rhinestone bracelet and diamond studded earrings are delicate accessories.
